I've witnessed, first-hand, the difference that NNF has made over the last decade. In 2022, I competed at OPA Cup Finals in Sappada, Italy with Team USA. My first trip to OPA Finals was in 2018 and it was a big deal if someone cracked the top 10. In 2022, this was a very realistic goal for every American athlete. At the end of the final race in Sappada, I found myself crossing the finish line in first place and had the pleasure of turning around to see as five of my teammates finished in the top 11!
The past 5 years I have been consistently racing World Cup, however year after year I find myself just barely missing out on a national team qualification. This means no funding from the team and I have to cover all of my expenses myself: airfare, trains, buses, lodging, food, trail passes, wax support.... But NNF is here to support! Last year, I raced 90% of the World Cup season and NNF helped me cover 80% of those costs. This was HUGE! It allowed me to focus on the racing and set higher goals for this season.
